Sonia has been practicing yoga for several years, and is more particularly passionate about the practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. She travelled every time the opportunity arose, and was lucky enough to be able to carry this unique practice with her across the world, allowing it to evolve thanks to the places she lived in or visited and the people she met on her way: in the United Stated, where it all started, in France, Africa, Brazil, Thailand…Every time, something new and precious integrated into her yoga.
More than a passion to her, yoga is an everyday transformative practice that quickly became a wonderful life choice. Learning to breathe, to observe – within and without – , to give a precise direction to her movement and to just “be” in her body, are all simple and yet essential teachings that yoga offers to those opened to receive them.
It is the desire to guide those people on their journey towards discovery of yoga, to spread its benefits such as wellbeing and serenity, that led Sonia to study with Linda Munro and Gerald Disse from Ashtanga Yoga Paris. These amazing teachers generously share their essential knowledge and tools to nurture a transition from a committed personal practice to the subtleties of teaching yoga.
